Hozuko is a marketplace for room rental. In order for Hozuko to provide its services, we may collect the following types of personal data from you:

  1. Name: this allows us and other users on the platform to identify you and to address you correctly
  2. Email address: this allows us to authenticate you and to communicate urgent matters to you
  3. Home address: if you list your current room on our platform.
  4. Singpass UUID: this allows us to verify that you have an authentic identity per government records

  • To provide and improve our services, such as facilitating communication between rental seekers and listers.
  • To verify your identity and maintain the security of our platform.
  • To communicate with you regarding your account, listings, and inquiries.

You may access and update your information within Hozuko through the “Profile” page of your account.

  • apply for a copy of the information we hold about you; or
  • request for a deletion of the data you previously provided to us to use, collect or disclose the information we hold about you;

Where you have requested a copy of the information we hold about you, we may charge a reasonable administrative fee to cover the costs of responding to your request. If we decide to do so, we will provide you with a written estimate of such fee beforehand.

Please note that withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features of our platform, including the deletion of your account.
